Cosplay Day at Toshimaen Park
We were fortunate enough to catch a cosplay event while in Japan. Thanks to Ed, Brad and Omi, who helped us silly tourists organize a get together with local cosplayers.
It was exciting to cosplay in Tokyo! I made Faye Valentine from "Cowboy Bebop".The lovely Julia with me in the photo is Omi Gibson, my favorite Japanese cosplayer. I have followed her work for many years and was sooo happy that we managed to get together before I left. She also completely surprised me by showing up in a Julia costume! She had asked what I was bringing but I did not know it was to coordinate with me!
After the shoot a big group of us went on the hunt for food and then spent the evening karaokeing! Literally, we did Karaoke for 3 hours, it was awesome! Thank you Omi, Brad and all the great cosplayers who came out with us!
