Why I chose to make this costume:
This costume was inspired by the way I have drawn fantasy artwork for years. I was really excited to have had the opportunity to make something I've only put on paper, so many times before.

How I made this costume:
The skirt, wrap, belt and flowing fabric strips were easy enough to create, it was the beading and jewelry work that took up so much time. I had a great time making the sheer flower and all of the necklaces and hanging beading though! The end prodduct is really a simple yet elegant ensemble, and if I have the time in the future, I'd love to elaborate on this idea.

My thoughts on this costume:
I just want to thank my model, Paula for wearing this costume at my Fashion Show, as well as Rich McCant for taking such wistful images of it.
